12 more days!

+ bought my rehearsal dinner outfit today (most of it), and got some other stuff done too

busy busy busy. this will be short all week most likely. was still sore today from CF on friday... "the chief" was even tougher than i realized! i have a gross bruise on my chest too from the power cleans... it better disappear soon! 

got lots of wedding stuff done over the weekend, so that was good. also got to see kate... she is SO cute right now. she says mama, daddy, dog, uh oh, and all done (which she also signs). uh oh is the cutest, it sounds more like "uh ohwohwohwoh". and she anticipates routines like tickling and laughs before you even start tickling her. and we tried on her flower girl dress and her first birthday dress and she looked gorgeous in both! also, i got a new coat that i LOVE. overall a good weekend!

i hate the snatch, i'm pretty sure it's my worst lift. i don't know why i have such a hard time. the power snatch is a little bit easier for me. hopefully i'll improve over time.

WOD
3 rounds of:
1 minute power snatch (22lbs)
1 minute overhead lunges (20lbs for rounds 1&2; 10lb for round 3)
1 minute row
1 minute ring dips (small band for round 1, medium band for rounds 2&3)
1 minute rest
total is total number of reps in all rounds combined (for rowing, reps=calories burned)
total=210
this was a pretty good number, and i was happy with it. ideally, i wish i hadn't had to decrease load in lunges and ring dips... but still a strong effort!
